Steve Trapmore

Steve Trapmore MBE was the inspirational stroke of the Gold Medal winning Crew of the British 8 at Sydney 2000. It was Britain’s first success in the 8 since 1912 and what made it even more special was that they did it the hard way. Steve also won various medals at World Championships in rowing and competed at the top level in sport for many years. Steve has also been a entrepreneurial business man and developed a successful IT and systems business with Olympic Rower Luka, also part of the Sydney 8.
